I would like to thank all those who made it possible for me to communicate on-line with you self-advocates and others who may view this website. Firstly, I would like to thank the Edenvale Retreat and Conference Centre again for giving us the space to ressurect our group. Secondly, I would like to thank Greggory Schiller, Arlene Schouten, and Cam Dore for putting many hours into the endeavour of ressurecting a self-advocacy group. Thirdly, before it slips my mind, I would like to thank the Matsqui-Sumas-Abbotsford Society for Community Living (Wildwood) for sponsoring me to go to a leadership retreat at Edenvale in November 2001. I would like to thank the folks at Care Network for helping us to put together a website, fourthly. A thank-you goes out to the British Columbia Liberal’s Ministry of Human Resources for providing us money every month to assist us in living better, fifthly. I will also take this opportunity to thank those folks who worked for the former government’s Ministry of Social Development and Economic Security for providing us money every month to assist us in living better, sixthly. Seventhly, a thank-you goes out to all those places who let us have our self-advocacy meetings. These places include the Abbotsford branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, the Old Courthouse of Abbotsford Community Services, the Trinity Memorial United Church, and the Abbotsford chapter of the Mennonite Central Committee Supportive Care Services. Finally, I would like to thank those parents and caregivers who take most of us to our self-advocacy meetings. Thank-you.
