Welcome to the October Newsletter! As the leaves turn vibrant shades of orange and red, and the air gets crisp and cozy, we’re diving into a very special theme for this month’s newsletter: Community Inclusion.
It’s a season where we celebrate togetherness and acceptance, but also look at barriers to inclusion.
In this edition, we’ll explore why it’s important to have communities that are accessible, safe, and affordable for everyone. We’ll also chat about how breaking down barriers and reducing stigma can make our communities even better. As we think about inclusion, it is important to focus on social justice, kindness, and acceptance, so that we can create a world full of warmth and friendship.
Everyone should be included in the community and be able to access the things that they need when they need them.
This doesn’t always happen, which adds more challenges to what people are already experiencing. Community Inclusion Month gives us a chance to talk about these things and make changes for a better community. We all deserve to be included and have the opportunity to have a good life.
So, grab a warm drink (we have a great pumpkin spice latte recipe for you!), snuggle up, and let’s embark on this journey of community, inclusion, and the magic of autumn!
