Bryce Schaufelberger is a leader in the BC self advocacy movement & lives in Mission, BC, Canada. Bryce began working on Self Advocate Net almost 17 years ago because of his fascination with technology, and how it could help self advocates have their voices heard and engage in the community. Bryce helped develop this website into a resource for self advocates across the province and beyond. Bryce has also served on the Community Living BC Board of Directors when it was founded in 2002, and has went on to 3 Special Olympics World Summer Games won two Special Olympics medals for soccer a gold in Shanghai 2007, and a bronze in Greece 2011. Also went to Special Olympics World Summer Games in Los Angeles in 2015 and  got 4th place . He has also competes in Special Olympics floor hockey,basketball and baseball.

 Lauren Stinson

Lauren Stinson is a member of the cerebral palsy community and is a recent graduate of Simon Fraser University. Her studies focused on the history of art, culture and film. She also has an extended minor in history. From her studies, Lauren gained a keen interest in the portrayal of disability within media and culture. Currently, Lauren Stinson works for the North Shore Disability Resource Centre Association, as a group facilitator and group planner for the Disabled Community Connection Network (DCCN). The DCCN is a monthly information and communication group that is facilitated by the disabled community specifically for their peers with disabilities. The group focuses on bringing all types of disabilities together in a safe environment. Additionally, Lauren works for Self Advocacy Net and is a board member for the Burnaby Association for Community Inclusion (BACI). In her spare time, Lauren can often be found watching cartoons, drawing or struggling to loom. – Most importantly, Lauren owns a poodle named Brie. Lauren is proud to be part of the cerebral palsy community and she is always looking to improve her advocacy and public speaking skills.
