This past year since my birthday which was on March 12, 2020 has been a hard one for me, to be honest.
I have learned some coping skills along the way, some of them from a very dear friend that I have had for over 40 years.
He’s very good at researching this sort of stuff, and he tries to get the right answer the best he can. My other friends too have been great, they are also always there for me.
COVID-19 is the one illness we will never forget. There are good days and bad days for me. On the bad days I call my friend John; he’s a night owl so I can call him at or even past midnight sometimes. The COVID-19 virus has left me confused a little, about why some folks are not willing to comply with wearing masks.
I have compromised health. So for sure I wear a mask when I am out in public. Some people need to learn not to be angry at each other in public if one of the person isn’t wearing a mask. Another way how I have been surviving COVID-19, was that I moved this summer in August. Best thing for me. I love my new place. It was time I moved.
After we are all vaccinated I hope COVID-19 will never come back. The virus has taught me to keep busy, but that is easier said than done.
I did do a zoom cooking program in my old place for a month, and that was fun. But I am a people person, there were days where I was just not motivated. Some of the classic TV shows have come back, Like Happy Days and Laverne and Shirley.
Nowadays, I need some laughs now.
In closing, I am hoping everyone will be Safe, Calm and Kind to one another.
