Christmas, in my experience, has always been a time to be with family and friends. When I was a young child, we had a very good time together, long before my grandpa, grandma, uncle, and aunt died. After my grandma died, my mom and I spent more time together by traveling to the USA to celebrate the Christmas season.
I spent a lot of time with my adult group, who supported me when I lost my grandma. I was only 29 years old at the time.
Later, in 2013, I traveled with my girlfriend to the USA to celebrate Christmas with my mom and me. That same year, I asked my girlfriend to be my wife, and the next year, in 2014, my fiancée’s mom passed away. In 2015 my fiancée and I moved in together and we celebrated all the friends and family who had died, and we remembered them during the Christmas time.
That’s why Christmas time is very special to us. The greatest gifts in my Christmases have been my family and friends.
